Thanks for joining the conversation Kenji. I wish that was case. If they could just see it our way, the new way, and see it in all its glory. I am a Google Doc having, on the computer all day, and Tweetie/Facebook kind of person. I believe these tools can help us connect and be productive on levels that I am sure Boomers never dreamed of.

Part of me also understands, where they come from. Boomers and the people before them have built this country on their way. And there way ain't half bad. I think the sweet spot is a good mix of both. Technology has allowed us to revolutionize how everything is done, but we have to remember the personal touch and how important that is.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

I hate to say this but boomers must meet my generation half way. Let me explain, today 66% of work is actually conducted outside the intended working environment. (cubesareevil.com). We are a generation that is in love (and lust) with social media. Further more, we actually utilize social media to get work related tasks done on schedule--and faster. Gen Y has learned to take work home, outsource to friends via Google Wave and Google Docs, and found life hacks at every turn. Gen Y could improve work efficiency of the boomer gen--just not office related work. You know? Let's not even examine the creative process that is stifled by long, cube type work hours. Work ethic, skill-sets, and global awareness is all there for millennials. It goes untapped at most companies, but watch, soon it will all make sense. That's my stream of consciousness for the day.

Cheers!
